As a specialist lawyer for construction and architectural law, my focus is on construction and planning awards as well as construction contract law, engineering contract law and plant construction law. In addition to being a specialist lawyer for construction and architectural law, I successfully completed the theoretical part of the specialist lawyer for public procurement law in June 2024.

My balance to my work at the law firm is music. I am passionate about playing the piano and saxophone; sometimes alone, sometimes in an ensemble. But I also find peace and strength for the everyday tasks of a working family man by growing fruit and vegetables in the garden.

  • Prepa­ra­tion and pub­li­ca­tion of all doc­u­ments for the award of plan­ning ser­vices for a mul­ti-pur­pose hall for cul­tur­al and sport­ing events (worth € 1.1 mil­lion)
  • Prepa­ra­tion of con­tract doc­u­ments for VOB/B con­struc­tion and HOAI plan­ner con­tracts. Advice on the priv­i­leged sta­tus of VOB/B pur­suant to § 310 para. 2 sen­tence 3 BGB. Influ­ence of the ECJ deci­sion on the infringe­ment of the HOAI a. F. against EU law
  • Exam­i­na­tion of sup­ple­men­tary claims regard­ing under-recov­ered over­head costs in the case of reduced quan­ti­ties in a VOL/B con­tract
  • Dec­la­ra­tion of ter­mi­na­tion for good cause, enforce­ment of claims for dam­ages for delay and reim­burse­ment of addi­tion­al costs in the amount of approx. 200,000.00 €
  • Exam­i­na­tion of the pub­lic pro­cure­ment law basis for the re-award­ing of unper­formed ser­vices from a ter­mi­nat­ed con­tract. The sub­ject mat­ter was steel con­struc­tion work with a val­ue of around €545,000.00
