I work in procurement, contract and grant law . My focus is on preparing and supporting the awarding of contracts for supplies and services. I provide support primarily in the procurement of forestry-specific services, but also in advising universities and hospitals on procurement and contract law.
In the wake of general public procurement law, I am frequently involved in drafting memoranda on complex individual issues, but also in reviewing contractual clauses, in particular on pricing and remuneration issues. Occasionally, I also draft letters of reprimand and applications for review. However, I prefer to work for public clients and work with them to defend themselves against unfounded complaints and applications for review.
I also regularly deal with mandates under grant law. The focus here is on the revocation of grants and subsidies and their recovery. I am happy to help grant recipients to ensure that they can actually keep the money they have already spent.
I am a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony and a supporting member of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Association. Outside of work, I am active in my church community, read the odd book or enjoy some time out with friends.
